Miami Trip

Can life get any better than eating bacon while relaxing near a tropical fountain? No, my friends, it cannot. We just had a wonderful weekend in Miami where we celebrated Danny and Danielle's wedding and saw lots of family we don't see nearly enough. It was a fast trip over the weekend, but we managed to lounge by the pool and eat slow drawn-out breakfasts which was wonderful. Lots of fun pictures below...I tried to put them in order, but that didn't work out and I wasn't about to re-upload them! Dancing with Daddy Still has the dimples! The weekend involved lots of twirling with Uncle Greg, who apparently never gets dizzy. Grammy and Papa with Leah All 8 of us! I think I've got him by quite a bit by now... Danny as Danielle was walking down the aisle. The ceremony was beautiful! Auntie J.J. and the Kook. Leah stayed in the pool until absolutely pruney every day! Sleepy in the airport on the way home... Congratulations Danny and Danielle!

Disney Spectacular

Okay, if you can't GO to Disney in March, the next best thing is seeing Disney Live come to your hometown! Leah and I had an awesome girls' night the other weekend...we had delicious frozen yogurt, followed by Three Classic Fairy Tales at the Morris Theater . We saw Mickey, Minnie, and the gang AND they narrated the stories of Snow White, Cinderella, and Beauty and the Beast. Leah was really funny about pointing out every little difference between the movies and the play. ("Mommy - why doesn't Belle have on her yellow dress? She's not supposed to wear her blue dress when she dances with the Beast!")

Snippets

I have not taken many pictures lately...I have not done a lot of things on my to-do list actually, but that's okay. I have had some wonderfully precious conversations with Leah. I wish I could record them, because sometimes they are so wacky and hilarious, and then I can't even remember how they went when I try to write them down, because I'm just not sure how her little mind gets from A to B! Here are some of my favorites that I did get written down quickly enough: One day in the car on the way home from school/daycare: Me: What are you learning about during circle time this week Leah? Leah: We're talking about space! I want to be a astronaut! Me: Wow, I think that would be awesome. Will you write me a letter from space if you go there in a rocket ship? Leah: No, silly! Astronauts don't have paper! They just have buttons. Me: Oh, I see. Maybe you could take a picture of space for me then. Leah: Moooom, I'm not going to bring a camera in the rocket! Me:
